Cafe Morgan

The snowy mountain peaks stood witness to it all. Their vast expanse embracing and holding mysteries. Witnessing history repeating itself, if only they could speak!. They would gorge out a treasure trove of secrets spilling out from the labyrinth and they would point you to the epicentre of it all.

CAFÉ MORGAN was born to be famous and to be an onlooker to the most unexpected and course-changing events of national significance. They will narrate the folklore of Lady Tara, the first bride of the Morgan House, wife of Col. Richard, who was swallowed by the gush of the volatile waters of the famous Bhagsu waterfalls. They will whisper secrets buried deep in the walls of the café. The walls that echoed with gunshots and splattered with now faded bloodstains of a brother killed by a sister as the father stood frozen in shock.

They will roar and fore-warn you that the serenity and bliss you feel in their lap can be shattered in a minute by the rumble of the ground below your feet. They were all too familiar to Norbu and Emily, who, with the blessing of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, had occupied the café for years and held on to the responsibility of guarding the most precious Tibetan secret of the “Three Pillar Code” from the international perpetrators. They held their peaks in pride as they watched a father daughter duo, the two R&AW officers, battle out the dangers lurking across the fringes of their land.
